A Seam Studios is a local and emerging lifestyle brand that focuses on handcrafted, luxe leisurewear that is inspired by relaxed tailoring, artisanal aspects and textual elements. 

 

There is a deep focus on knitwear and elongated silhouettes that are unhurried and exude comfort. The brand reflects the love and adornment of classic items combined with modern day styling and self reflection. Stylistic additions such as oversized belts, bags and faux fur components complete the A Seam Studios' look. ​

 

A Seam Studios is headed by Amber-Rose Hennings, a third year graduate from Cape Town College of Fashion Design. Her brand is the collective and collaborative story behind her childhood, being raised by her grandmother and the journey of combining old craft techniques with her modern view on silhouette and fabrication. The brand strives to evoke articulation, emotion, comfort and style, whilst reflecting the wearers story and self preservation.
